What information do we collect?

In order to provide analytics for our games, Unity Analytics collects and uses an anonymized user ID. Each ID is unique to each user, and these IDs cannot be used to track users across apps built by other developers and cannot be mapped between different services, devices, or browsers on the same computer.

Website Comments

When visitors leave comments on SquigglyFrog Studios articles or blog posts, we collect and store the following information:

• Name: The name provided when submitting a comment. This name is displayed publicly alongside the published comment.
• Email Address: The email address provided when submitting a comment. Email addresses are stored privately and are never displayed publicly or shared with other visitors.
• IP Address Hash: To help prevent spam, abuse, and repeated unwanted submissions, we generate and store a one-way cryptographic hash of the visitor's IP address. The original IP address is not stored as part of the comment record. This hash allows us to recognize repeated activity without retaining the original IP address in our comments database.
• Comment Content: The text submitted by the visitor, which may be displayed publicly once the comment is approved.

Comments may be reviewed or moderated before appearing publicly. SquigglyFrog Studios reserves the right to remove comments containing spam, abusive content, inappropriate material, or other content that violates our community standards.

Comment information is used for operating and maintaining the commenting system, preventing abuse, and communicating with commenters when necessary. Email addresses collected through comments will not be added to marketing mailing lists without separate consent.

Spam Prevention and Cloudflare Turnstile

Our website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish legitimate visitors from automated bots and prevent spam submissions.
